This camera takes great pics and videos, although the zoom during video takes away the audio ( have I got a refurbished one ? ).
The LCD in the front is a great feature, probably worth the camera. I have read previous reviews on the short battery life ( the original is 700mah ), and got a package with a spare 1000mah which I have used and never run of battery during a day of vacation.
The charger is propietary ( no usb standard cable on the camera side ) but it comes in two pieces to you can connect it to a laptop and recharge it there. The camera side is a propietary samsung connection.
Videos are in mp4 format, good quality and compression.
A con for me will be that some photos take a long time to store, but it seems to be related to the quality of the SD card ( using a class 4 right now ), or I could have gotten a refurbished one.

The camera is absolutely amazing. My parents had an older (non-digital) Canon SLR that I loved when I was growing up, but for the last few years I've been using a simple point and shoot Digital camera. I always thought the pictures it took were fine, but after getting this camera I realized how wrong I was. The colors on the new camera completely blow away anything you'd get with a point and shoot camera and the rate you can take pictures is fantastic. We recently had a daughter and taking Christmas pictures was a breeze with this camera. I just kept taking pictures, not worrying if she was smiling perfectly and then went through and found the good ones. On top of that the simple modes such as portrait make the camera idiot proof for most pictures.
A few notes, if you like to use the live view (LCD screen) you have to use the creative modes. My wife is not very technical but she wanted to be able to just look at the screen like she did on our point and shoot. The downside is that you can't use the simple modes and use the screen and she doesn't want to have to set any of the settings. However, she has found that using the view finder works fine and for the quality of the pictures she is more then willing to use it.
For the price I didn't really care about the bag, but the quality of it was cheap and one of the clips actually came broken. However, for the price of the whole package, I was fine with a cheap bag. I plan on getting a better camera bag prior to going away with the camera.

The A201 is very Good camera and I bought it with my own money( I am eight years old). It has satisfied me very well with its price. I am impressed with the quality and I would recomend it to anyone shopping for an entry-level good-quality bash-around camera. I have sent many e-mails using the easy-to-use FinePix Software that comes in the box with the USB (universal serial bus) connector. The software comes with automatic procedures such as saving in the "My Pictures" Folder that comes with every computer. The software comes with the Update and delteable folder called "100_fugi". The only dis is that the camera for some reason makes the target father than the Human eyebut other than that the camera is very good and toped my expectations. At first I thought of buying the Canon Powershot but the store manager at [a local store] gave me a better deal, the A201.

The accessories items in this combo kit are all low end -- but there are a lot of them, so it's still a good deal for the price.
