Does everything you want and it does it well. Nice photo camera and does a decent video with sound also. Long lasting rechargeable battery and EZ to use.
It makes a Panarama shot, too! Also records AUDIO ONLY.
Get at least a 1 GIG card with it so you have plenty of room for your pics and videos.
Small enough to carry around in your purse, unless you're a man and you might not be in the habit of walking around with a purse. But, if you ARE a MAN if you want to carry a purse; that's your own business; not mine. the point is: IT'S A GREAT CAMERA!
I got the pink one. NIKON calls it "Plum". It's really more like PINK. Nobody will steal a man's PINK Camera!

I've had this camera for slightly over one year, and it worked perfectly up until this past week. The flash doesn't work, and now the camera isn't being recognized on my computer, so I can't upload photos. I thought Nikon was a good brand, but apparently the camera breaks as soon as your warranty expires. Two thumbs down.
