I am not an expert photographer, so wanted a camera that was easy to use, but would allow me to change settings for light and have a good zoom. This camera does a great job with both. My only complaint is that the pictures can be blurry if you don't hold the camera very still. I've never had this problem before, but probably due to the larger zoom lens. All in all, a great camera for the price and loved the accessories that came with it. One note: charging station for the rechargable batteries was defective. They sent a new one free of charge.
